The lentils of Altamura are IGP, meaning they are certified to have been cultivated there. These small green lentils are rich in protein, fiber, and iron and they alone are absolutely delicious. Dehydrated Porcini mushrooms were added to give this delicious easy to prepare full meal an earthy flavor. Simply empty the package in 4 cups of boiling water, add some olive oil and stir until all the water is absorbed, add salt and pepper and serve hot! A delicious artisan preparation that is a complete meal in one pack.
